Members Jon Dough
Yes. Sort of... The "overdrive" is produced by the level control on the Leslie amp. setting this on 9 or 10 produces the overdrive that clonewheels are emulating. Members MRkeys
Maybe this is a trick question? Leslie never made a B3:D
Members O.K. Johnson
Actually there is supposed to bea pot on the expression pedal you can turn up that may give you the desired effect. I haven't messed with it but guys on the hammond forum have. I'm not near the B-3 at the moment so I can't verify.
Members eric
No, there is no overdrive feature. Back in the day, overdrive was created by driving the tube amp in the Leslie with a lot of gain. I am not aware of a pot on the expression pedal. Members suitandtieguy
don't mess with the trimpot, that will just give you input stage distortion on the Leslie. for overdrive, you want OUTPUT distortion. so crank the leslie, pull out the bottom four, and push the pedal all the way down and you should have plenty of growl. Members snake eyes
I'd like some warm distortion at lower and mid volumes without having to go full out.
Members eric
That's easy...just turn the volume down on the Leslie. As long as the gain from the Hammond is jacked enough to drive the tubes, you can dial in volume as you like on the Leslie. Regards,Eric
Members Fancy Fingers
do Leslies have volume controls? I never realised that, I always thought the controls were on the organ.
Members pelleyoo
But how do you get that raw jon lord of deep purple sound then? Isn't he using both marsahall guitar amp and a leslie? But somehow he can control the overdrive all the time....

I like things stock when all possible. As far as Jon Lorf I think he used a Marshall Stack as well.
