Members pink floyd cramer
anybody use either one or AB'd the 2? Tuck''s 25 sounded awesome on his blues band clips. And how do they compare to Motion Sound Pro3T ? (I am a previous owner)

Members tucktronix
Thanks, PFC:) I've never played thru the Lanili Rotary(much less heard of it). However, I have played with the Motion Sound amps(not sure of the model) and they didn't come close to the 25, not to say that any of today's newer models won't either. I give a lot of the credit to the Fender Bassman. The Bassman gives the sound so much warmth.
Members pink floyd cramer
'preciate yer input, tuck! BTW I intend to steal some of your rhythm chops:) I have located a site selling a leslie 25 for $250, seems like a good deal but I have to factor in the cost of an amp head whereas the Lanili ($400, 16 lbs) is self-powered. Members coyote-1
The Lanelei is NOT self-powered - you still need an amp to drive it. The leslie 25 would be a good deal for you.
Members pink floyd cramer
I have found (searching tuck's old posts) that the stock 25 only has fast and stopped speeds, has to be modded for chorale. Doesn't knock it out of contention, though. The sound is worthwhile! (new sig?) I have a lead on what I think is a model 16 or 18 leslie, which AFAIK has both fast and slow speeds. Anyone know about these?

Members pink floyd cramer
yes, I do. But you're safe, I don't think you have any clips up. I remember a very cool riff you did on a med. tempo shuffle.
