1-off, USA built 1987 Ibanez RG.

Has typical guitar wear from the years, but is in PERFECT playing shape, no problems, no big chips nothing like that, though in one spot (pictures) oj the headstock is does have a spot where the lacquer if...missing.

Will sell for $699 or possibly trade for...?

This IS the best playing Ibanez Ive ever played...and I own a S5470 and a JEM777.

Guitar comes with hardcase.

Have a '93 Jackson Rhoads Pro I'd trade. Traded her out for a beater LP a few months ago and she came back. Great guitar, I just never play it.

Black with black hardware. Quartersawn maple neck thru body. Ebony fretboard, 22 frets, cream binding and MOP shark-fin inlays. MOP Jackson logo. Schaller made Jackson Floyd Rose trem. Jackson JH-3 and J-50 pickups. Dunlop locking strap buttons. OHSC with all latches intact.

This is probably the cleanest used Rhoads I've come across. Normal play-wear: some light scratching as well as some paint chips missing from the tips as is normal with these, but there is no actual wood missing. Nothing that isn't easily touched up. Minimal fret-wear. The guitar sets up low and plays fast all the way up the neck. Some wear to the plating on the trem and control plate. The strap-locks are not original and the rear cover plate has been replaced.

This is an actual Rhoads Pro, not to be confused with the lower end Professional series of guitars. This was a top end model made in the early 90's when Jackson was thinking about moving production models to Japanese production and reserving their USA production team for custom order work. The Pro series was built to the same exacting specks with the same parts and materials as a comparable USA model of the era. Jackson Pro series guitars are considered by many, including myself, to be totally equal in all regards to a USA Jackson production model. Used pricing on these has seen a dramatic up-wards trend over the past few years.

This is not a one off guitar. Ibanez offered these in a variety of custom graphics. Basically the same as an RG 770. What happened to the original neck with binding and sharkfin inlay? Also original pickups were IBZ USA made by Dimarzio. Some decent details on these in bluebook.
