Members cold truth Posted August 9, 2005 Members Share Posted August 9, 2005 any possibility of a little brother-ala xv5050/2020 being released for the fantom xr? its been a year and a half already. can we just get something thats stripped down, ala motif es rack? just sounds and effects? no sampler? at least 2 expansion slots (prefferably 4) with one built in? SOMETHING in this mold? pleeeeeeeease!?!?!? i know you guys cant really spill the beans.... but even a cryptic "wink-nudge" answer will suffice. Members The Audacity Works Posted August 10, 2005 Members Share Posted August 10, 2005 Unfortunately, Roland US employees don't find out about the products shown at either NAMM until about two to three weeks before said NAMM. Sometimes they'll get calls from overseas customers who've somehow found a secret site and learned about new Roland/Boss gear before they do. But yes, it'd be great to have a budget Fantom XR.
