Case in point. I've been looking at G-Majors. Many people who sell them want $325 or slightly more. Hell a new one is only $399. (GC had them for $299 new on labor day). A $74 savings for used gear. If i was in a real hurry I'd list on ebay and sell it the same day as listing it like I always do. But I'm in no real hurry so I'll let it sit on HC for a month and save the fees.5. I did think maybe a trade for something plus cash. Trade down and have money in my pocket. But I changed my mind as I still want a XXX Dale B. is selling. I just sold a Fender Floyd Rose USA I bought for $475 for $900 and a CS Fender Showmaster Elite for $1400 and paid $850. Its a matter of knowing what you're buying, following trends, and sometimes just getting lucky. Besides, who really wants to lose money? And shipped price was about $1700-1750 a few months ago. I had plenty of Ebay sales to support it. Anyone at all familiar with the flavor of the month type amps know they go up and down frequently.
