Members Brick Posted May 31, 2009 Members Share Posted May 31, 2009 I can take more/better pictures at request, these do kind of suck Oh well, here we have a 1984 JCM 800 w/ the bright cap mod. This mod just clips a cap to help tame the highs, that's all, and easily reversible. This peticular amp was originally modded for an extra gain stage and I believe an FX loop, this was all returned to its stock form before I bought it, all the extra holes were plugged that were in the chassis. Still has the original Drake tranny's (heavy as hell) in as well as what I believe to be the original caps. Current power tubes are EH 6CA7's which are drop in replacements for EL-34's and a mix in the pre. THIS IS A FEELER thread guys, so throw out some offers, I would prefer a trade, but for the right price I would sell. Nothing peticular in mind, I'm just seeing what's out there, so shoot me an offer of some sort guys.
