Lost out on a Yammy Motif 7 and got two "second chances" on the auction from TWO DIFFERENT e-mail addresses (AOL and Yahoo)! Telltale sign right there... the bastards. Members clusterchord Posted December 22, 2005 Members Share Posted December 22, 2005 IT'S A SCAM !! i got those several times, whenever bidding on high ticket synth items. i reported to eBay, it turned out spoof-mail each time. report to eBay by all means, if its legit they will let you know for sure. spoof mailers go to great trouble making that mail look as "official" as it can, just so they can more easily separate you and your hard earned cash. If does not appear in "My Messages" at "My EBay" it's a fake. I've been looking at moving to a Triton Extreme or Studio and it seems half the auctions are fake. So many are removed by Ebay well before they end. There's one up now that seems like a good deal but the seller hasn't used his account in Four Years?! The red flags are everywhere.
