Members jbush4
I'm using a Roland AX-7 midi controller, and I'm having this problem.....When I power on the AX-7, the patch bank starts at A11 like normal, but suddenly switches to A1-And from there, goes back and forth between A11 and A1-I tried restoring the factory settings, but it didn't solve the problem.......Any suggestions before I call Roland? (because I really don't feel like dealing with customer service today) I would GREATLY appreciate any feedback you can offer!!

Members jbush4
I think it's an electrical problem..... has anyone ever had to open one up to fix electrical problems? if so, how much of a pain in the ass is it, and how easy is it to fix? Members The Audacity Works
Definitely sounds like a hardware problem. If it's under warranty, call (323) 890-3700 x2289 to get an RA#. If it's not, go here to find your closest local service center.
Members BillyWa
Sounds like a patch button may be stuck or something. I had a crappy problem with my AX-7 last gig, it kept turning off and back on in the middle of songs. One time right in the middle of a pitch bend that locked into the sound module. I had to reinitialize everything after playing the rest of the song out of key. I am assuming it is a loose battery connection, but have not had time to look into it.
