Members Sunlit Posted March 19, 2008 Members Posted March 19, 2008 Can anyone recommend me or possibly direct me to some good play along tracks? I want to work on my soloing, and I think this would help. My amp is in my living room, and I have a surround sound system that can hook up to my ipod. I think it'd be cool to put some play along/instrumental tracks on the ipod and jam out with my guitar. Any recommendations?
Members 17SS Posted March 20, 2008 Members Posted March 20, 2008 http://www.bluesblast.com/www.jamstudio.com - I think it USED to be good, but now I am pretty sure you have to pay to get the rest of the backing tracks, and some of them sound kind of cheesy to me. try it out though, you may like it

Members Santuzzo Posted March 20, 2008 Members Posted March 20, 2008 Check out this site:http://www.bluesjamtracks.com/ they have really awesome blues jam tracks. Each track comes with a sample solo, which is cool for practicing, too.
Members bdemon Posted March 21, 2008 Members Posted March 21, 2008 I think there's a link--or a bunch of threads--on this site that will send you in some good directions. Do a search. Oh, and I've made some cool tracks at my site below.
Members PINKUSFLOYDUS Posted March 22, 2008 Members Posted March 22, 2008 I have been at this over 30 years and play over and over and over to a section of Allman Brothers "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" live. There's a section about 4-1/2 minutes into the song that lasts a minute or so that is perfect for this!
