Mark Wein
I had a bunch of folks asking for some slide guitar lessons, so here is the first in the series! http://markweinguitarlessons.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=101&Itemid=37 We'll do about 4 lessons in all...this one is in Open D tuning but we'll do standard tuning and probably some Open G as well... I'm also having another solo contest on my forum....lotsa blues this time! http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forum/index.php?board=20.

It will probably be in a few weeks...I want to do a couple of the open D ones first and get the guys playing some tunes...
Members benzem
Hi Mark I can't download the blues BT's. Wrong file type AI?? something. Said my program could not open it. And page took a long time to load (unusual). ? I want to enter the blues thing, great idea. I did one "king of the blues" gtrcenter. Didn't play well on "stage" but I improved greatly practicing for it.

I think you can convert them to mp3's in iTunes (I'm downloading right now to try it out) The nice thing about the contests are that it gives guys who don't play gigs the opportunity to have to put something together for public consumption. Once you know that people outside of your bedroom are going to hear your playing it definitely gets things improving fast...
Mark Wein
I just tried it and if you have iTunes you can play the .aif and then convert it to an mp3 if thats the format your recording software needs to import the BT...let me know if that helps!
