So after a while I have decided to take guitar seriously and play songs with chords. For my first one I want to to learn "Voodoo Lady" by Ween. Ive been trying to get the strumming pattern by ear but for the life of me cant figure it out. Can someone please help nudge me in the right direction?

Here is the tab I am using:

Wait a second. You have 1433 posts on Harmony Central and you're just now learning your first song with chords?

The supposed "tab" at 911 is just a chord chart.

Here's someone's attempt at tabbing out the intro riff... is it any help?

If I were to try to figure this out seriously, I'd load the audio up in

Transcribe!, zoom right in on an area about 3 bars long, then use the

"M" and "B" keys to mark where the beats are, then inch through it

noting in my transcription where each strum attack starts.

If I wasn't feeling as anal as that, I'd play along and try to get in the groove

and fake it :)
