Members darreno27
Anyone know what effects sambora uses to get the sound of this song? Especially the intro riff.

Members BillyGrahamCracker
The DOD JRAK-8008, I think. You know what's funny? I just got two "social" emails from within my company of someone trying to sell Bon Jovi concert tickets. I couldn't think of a work-appropriate way to respond so I deleted them. Members AJ6stringsting
Get a harmonizer or a Digitech Whammy pedal, set the harmonizer/ pedal to be simulating a (8th) note 1 octive higher.

Members Speeddemon
Richie Sambora's sound usually comprises a compressor, a chorus (something subtle, but shimmering, like a DOD FX60), a delay, a talk box (more prominent on "Living on a prayer") and Octave+distortion ofcourse. And it helps to have a beefy sounding (super)Strat, with a heavy output neck-singlecoil (like a Duncan SSL5 Custom Staggered) or bright humbucker. I can cop his tone fairly well, especially with my HSH Ibanez (Air Norton neck, Evo brigde).
