Members PaulS
Have you tried this, plug into channel two and run a patch cord from channel 1 to 2. Make a pedal, get fancy throw in a led and you have a built in gain boost. Works great with my bassman. Members Wyatt
Only works on Fender non-reverb models. On Fender's reverb models (Deluxe Reverb, Pro Reverb, etc.), the two channels are out of phase with each other. Because of they have 1/2 a tube leftover left over from the reverb design, Fender used that to add an extra gain stage in the reverb channel giving it one more than the normal channel; that makes them 180-degrees out of phase with each other. However, jumping the channels on Tweed Fenders and Marshalls is practically the norm. -Y.

Members sirhcathome
But on those amps you can almost emulate the brownface tremolo with the two out of phase channels.
