BYOC EA Tremolo

i am thinking of building one. how does it sound? is it similar to the boss tremolo? is there a volume issue when engaged? please tell me all you think i need to know.

There is no volume drop...there's a trim pot on the inside that allows you to set the volume so you can boost it if you want.

 

I did have a TR-2 but that was a while ago so i don't remember what it sounded like. I believe it was thinner sounding than the BYOC.

i did it! i placed an order for all the components to build an EA tremolo clone. but i found a schematic with 3 knobs - volume, speed and depht. so that will be the one i am gonna build! and this is how it should look like:

 

 

a nice white box with black and red writing. maybe i will change the font and use another name. my intention is to build some more pedals (if i suceed) and name 'em all after beatles songs. hah.
