if you could run you signal through a keyboard synthisizer with a vocorder attached that lets you "speak" the envelope for your sound. there are also synths which allow you to record a sample and play it back at the pitch corresponding to each key. try a synth. or maybe a patch for a synth pickup?

SDS-1/2
Guitar-anything with 2 outputs-
out one into the input.
2 some kind of heavy duty boost into the trigger input.

Before you plug the guitar into the input plug a mic in and WOOF or run some recorded sound into it.

Then every time your signal is loud enough(might wanna use a comp with alot of the dreaded 'pop'.

If you run a fuzz in front of the boost and boost it enough it'll trigger at the peak of the wave, so you get this BIZZARRE synth noise made of the start of the sample repeating at say E 80hz.

In any case, that's the most economical way to do it.
