Members Last Nerve
Not that I use them much together, but how are other people setting up this combo? I do use a slight delay to fatten some rhythm tones and might see myself stepping on the tremolo for a hard chop or something. My Analogman DD3 is before my Semaphore. Members Lanefair
Well it's either one way or the other. Delay into trem will probably sound the oddest.
Members stereotypy
i have delay into trem so the sound is kinda more stable.. the other way round the trem and delay could work really against each other and create something i couldn't listen to really. so i put the trem after and am much more satisfied. Members opultaM
Depends. Do you want the tremelo to continue at an uninterupted rate when the delay is on? Then put the trem second. But if you rather have the delay keep it's tempo most clear, don't mind the tremelo losing it's clear tempo and becoming overlapping (and i my opinion, more interesting), then put the trem first.I would guess that most people put trem first. Just a guess though.Forget everything I just said and just try it both ways. Don't ever take advice from this board over your own ears.
Members Uma Floresta
Definitely trem into delay --- it'd sound bizarre otherwise.
Members puddinstone
I go both...delay>trem>delay.....>tremI have my memory lane> Cusack tap a whirl> DD-5>DD-20>Austone(for hard chop) I tend to like trem after delay. Some one said ealier that it makes it more stable. I agree, you don't get a 'doubled' trem sound if it is after the delay. I think this is more useable in most situations. Members Shuborno
I like delay > trem... ...but I only do that when both pedals are being used in a more subtle way.

Members jonny guitar
I do both because I have trem on my amp and a pedal before my delay. I actually like the trem after the delay for short slapbacks and before the delay for any longer however I tap tempo the delay to fit perfectly. Members troubbble
I use trem>delay, but I love the sound of a trem in a delay's loop. It sounds magical.

Members DaSkip
Delay is the last thing for me. I split the signal to two amps downstream from the delay.
Members PFDarkside
My only trem is a newly acquired Seek Trem, and I find it looses everything that's interesting if there's a delay after. I was also inspired by classic rigs, tape echoes into amp trem...
Members The Argus
I like the trem inside the delay. Keeley DD3 with the trem in the loop, sounds damn good.
