That's a double-edged sword. Some folks find that ultimate tweakbility can be a bit of a rathole, and it's nice to have a wah that just sounds good and plays well. Jack I have both the Teese picture and the Cry Baby w/ fasel, the Teese wins but the Cry Baby gives it a real run for the money( for 1/3 the price). Analogman has this to say: "The FASEL inductor is a usually red plastic cylinder shaped inductor used around 1970 on some italian wahs. They sound very good." See http://www.analogman.com/kraft.htm You (or a qualified pro) can always replace the inductor in a non-Fasel wah with a Fasel for what Keeley (among others) calls "that vintage sound."
