Playing without a BASSIST!

OK let's clear this up

stage presence was only the minor thing,

people that we had try out were either unreliable potheads/druggies, tone deaf, too poor to afford decent equipment, no sense of timing...
... one, get this, HAD NO CAR!!

and yes one was actually decent, but man he was such a knob and just plain annoying,
are we picky? not really, we just wanted a RELIABLE, decent bassist with a decent equipment and decent personality

ANYWAY, since I post it this on the effects forum, I'm really interested in hearing ways of getting around using a BASS

What equipment and such..

thanks

tell that to the most of bassists in 80's glam rock era

guitar is essential for rock

bass is essential for jazz, soul, dance, etc.

Get Warr guitar or Stick...?

I want to form a duo with a drummer friend and came to that conclusion... It bridges the gap between guitar and bass. But learning to play it or coming up with your own style is another thing altogether...

Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto have a duo thing going on...
