Bjork.

For sure my favorite voice ever. If you don't dig her, do me a favor: eat an eighth of mushrooms, put "Vespertine" on headphones, and call me when you return to planet Earth.

;)

+1 for Patton, too. Dude's a twisted genius.

:thu: We must be related or something.

Those are my two favorites by far.

Other than that I think those above the rest are:

Freddie Mercury
Jimmy Gnecco
Thom Yorke
Muse guy?
Peter Gabriel
Fiona Apple
Beth Gibbons
Buckley

Yeah, we must be. Apart from the Muse guy and Jimmy Gnecco (don't know their stuff), I'm in full agreement with your list.

Tiki, please see my previous suggestion re: Bjork and then post your thoughts. I was not being facetious.

But...

you really think we can be friends?

I read your post in full babe ... yes we can be friends but it's her or me!

have you heard Elbow?
their first album (asleep at the wheel)is great and the singer sounds a lot like Gabriel. in fact they said that with their first CD they wanted to make a prog album without the long-winded solos. actually sounds more like radiohead though. :)
