Members hugbot
I'm finding it hard to keep the pedal off these days. SO I ask you, at what point do you reckon it becomes "too much"?
Members inscho
depends on what kind of music you play.
Members Mr. Poopsicle
As long as the main guitar line is still distinguishable you've still got taste.

Members DonaldDemon
I think the same thing. It seems like I have trouble turning it off myself. When jamming at home it never goes off. When jamming, it only seems to come off at funky or blusey jams. As long as its not overbearing the dry signal, I say {censored} it. Members ElectricImages
that's where you're wrong. Keep going deep, deep into the overbearing the dry signal abyss and join me! Bring some reverb while you're at it.
Members gorebuc
No such thing if used as instrument itself. Delay as a "spice-em-up" rarely appeals to me....

Members SpectralJulian
I use a lot of delay until I hear what it sounds like recorded. Then I turn the delay down. Even if the first repeat is at 30% of the volume it can be a little overwhelming and make your playing really lose definition. I think going stereo will solve the problem for me. Clean on the right, wet on the left. Delay sounds amazing live though.

Slapback for sure. You pretty much want to use it for a reverb feel. Ambient delay bugs the hell out of me after a while, i keep having to turn it down and down. At least if it's slapback, it's more like a reverb effect.
