What do you guys use to connect your pedals to one another?

There are companies that make soderless cable kits that you can DIY... cutting the cables to just the length you need for each individual cable. George L's and Planet Waves both come to mind. I used PW stuff for both of my boards. It's easy, sounds good and is quite flexible insofar as customizing the cables to your specific needs.

I started costing what it would be to replace my cheapo patch cables and mediocre Yamaha lead cords with George L's today and the sum total for my entire rig was $230.

I shall wait until I sell a couple of pedals to fund this little enterprise, but I'm sure it will be worthwhile.

Not many choices out there for smaller cables....

length just depends on your routing, pedal size, etc.

i personally use a mixed bag. most of the 6 inchers are Fender ElectroVolt. Monster's good but overpriced IMO. Hosa has some good ones but most are unshielded.

that's the main thing you want to look for--shielded cables to cut down on noise. avoid cables with plastic ends, unless there's metal underneath.

http://www.lavacable.com/ has a great selection and great prices!
