Members SpectorDave
I want a Telecaster in a big way just now!! However i cant justify owning two single coil guitars, as i dont use them as much as my PRS fitted with EMG's. So the Jaguar is getting sold and im gonna buy a Telecaster. Ive got my eye on a '72 Telecaster Custom which i can get for
Members sainty
I would go second hand. There's loads of decent tele's on ebay and you'd save a bunch of money. this for example. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FENDER-TELECASTER-RELIC-ELECTRIC-GUITAR_W0QQitemZ270096140193QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33039QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Members TeleMan1985
Good choice sir! If it were me, I would go for the '52 reissue, but it's all a matter of taste...
Members vigor&kandor
the '72 custom ri stock humbucker sounds horrible, just a fair warning.
Members OT?
I'm sure you could find a USA Telecaster for less than that. The USA would be my personal choice, I prefer the neck shape. How much are you looking to sell the Jag for? I may be interested.

Members jasonfuzz
A lot of people will tell you the pickups on the '72 Custom are {censored}ty, so I'd recommend trying one out for sure. I'd get a 60s reissue telecaster MIM though

Members JDandCoke
where do you plan to buy from? id expect best prices from gak... but better service (and better guitar) from coda music
Members blankfield
you'd think one would post more pictures than just the body on an ebay auction. A bidder may be inclined to bid if they could get the whole story, not just some {censored}ty medium shot. sheesh.
Members SpectralJulian
Selling your Jaguar and buying a Telecaster won't save you from being a poseur. I'm the only ghost round here!
