Members PFDarkside
What's your favorite envelope following filter and why? I have nearly zero experience with these, hence the why part of the question. What's a nasty, growly filter? How does that mini Bass Balls work for guitar? Members anti-flag193
I wanna know too. I love Radiohead's use of envelope filter. I know BYOC has a clone of the 440 they use. I don't know if I trust myself enough to put it together right though.

Members StompboxMan
My first one was a EH MicroSynth. Then all hell broke loose when I got a Lovetone Meatball and I put the MS in the Meatball's loop. www.lovetone.com/meatball.html

Members BassPlayerJosh
Tonefactor Red 442 (a 440 clone for bass) for me. It's the only one I've owned, however I must have listened to like 100 sound clips of every single one out there. I love it's organic sound and just how reactive it is to what's in front of it. Members jay3265E
I've had a few and the one that stood out to me was the EBS BassIQ which can be set for use on guitar or bass. The size, the sound quality and the effect quality was all really good. It sounded like a what I would expect a vintage Mutron to sound like. Members chu2
Speaking of, (not meaning to hijack) what's the difference between an Electro-Harmonix Dr. Q and a Q-tron? And has anyone tried out the Nano Dr. Q? How is it?

Members Johnny Metro
For me at least, it doesn't even sound like it's on. I've moved it around in my chain, tried it alone and I can't get anything out of it other than one spot where it sounds like a depressed, trebly, throaty wah. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'm an idiot because I'm pretty certain it's not the pedal.
