Members RockNote Posted April 23, 2007 Members Share Posted April 23, 2007 I don't think and effect is "bad" per say.All effects sound good used in the right music, in the right amounts.If I had to pick one, I would say Trem, but not because the effect is bad, more because people use it wrong. When it is used wrong, it is horrific. How do you use tremolo wrongfully and rightly? I love when soft strumming is done with tremolo, perhaps in the background - it sounds like the music is BREATHING. E.g. Emmylou Harris's Ice Blue Heart.
