Members Kubenzi Posted May 18, 2007 Members Share Posted May 18, 2007 ^ its basically like a lute or some other stringed instruments i cant recall the name of at the moment,but it basically keeps the tips of your fingers off the fretboard so you only touch the string instead of touching the string and some of your fingertips touching the fretboard on either side of the string. i actually loved it at one time and used it for gambale type jazz stuff.i think that tele is really nice looking,and i would buy one from a boutique type company probobly,but i wouldn't trust a home-job scalloped neck,and i didnt like the scalloped necks that came factory on mid-priced gguitars.
