The MIJ version with the green label goes for less money. That's about it. Seriousely, I've been through this a few times and have owned just about every variation of the ce-2. The black label and green label sound identical to eachother. The green label version that's made in taiwan sounds only slightly different, but not enough to pay twice as much for a made in japan version. Any of the CE-2's sound amazing. Members Electric Catfish Posted July 29, 2007 Members Share Posted July 29, 2007 I think some of the green label Japanese (and Taiwanese) ones used a 3207 chip, while the earlier black label ones used the 3007.
