Members bmast160
I love the notched sound of it and the sustain and how it starts to breakup after sustaining for a bit... I run it on an overdriven amp, as you should, but i want something that has better fidelity...i already had keeley mod it to make it a little better but i want more fidelity...when i switch it on after using a really good fuzz that i have it just doesnt have the fidelity that others have... any recommendations of something that sounds very similar(not the ds-1...not crazy about it)? Members Urinate Forever
get a better pedal. I know in the DS1 if you clip the D4 and D5 it opens up the sound a whole lot and doesn't make it sound so buzzy and compressed.
Members Puddlegum
I've got a Monte Allums modded DS1 and it sounds a whole lot better then a stock one. No more ear piercing high end and the tone knob actually does something now.
