Members bradberry00 Posted March 28, 2008 Members Share Posted March 28, 2008 if you want to play chords then the pogs are really the only choice but for single note stuff the octron sounds so much better to my ears. the pog has a weird warbly/pitchy type quality that i could never get used to and doesn't track complex/weird chords as well as some would have you believe. the octron is much smoother and natural sounding for single note stuff. This is completely true! For rhythm work/full chords, the POG can't be beat, but for leads/single note runs, the Octron slays it! The POG always has a kind of steel drum tinge to it when playing leads IMO... The Octron is smooth and sweet! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
