Kurzweil-era Rick Wright sounds are awful. Once he went ROMpler his sound went to {censored}.

Check out the Roger Waters "In The Flesh" DVD...

The Keyboardplayers use ONLY the Kurzweil K2600, PC2R, and a Hammond w Leslie.

The sounds are GREAT !!! Spot on !!!

I suspect they sampled some of the old synths and processed them thru the great V.A.S.T engines in the Kurzweils

Dan Fisher didn't program that, He stole the files from Pink Floyd, there's a book about it called Tribute, look it up, read it and it is unbelievable... I think this guy is still working for top names in the biz... Jon Carin from Pink Floyd said he was the one caught stealing.

Sorry- Pink Floyd was disbanded before Kurzweil was making synths.

Remember, Kurz made samplers/PCM Romplers long before they made synths.

They primarily used:

Piano

Rhodes

Wurlie

Clav

B-3

Arp Solina String Ensemble

Minimoog

EML400

And I believe and EMS Synthi A

I believe rick wright likes the kurzweil digital synths beacause they recreate his old analog tones best.

This .....
