Members nicmah
Hi all, New poster here and pretty new keyboard player.Just wondering what in your opinion is the best synth (mainly for emulating classic organ sounds - Wurlie, B3 etc and solid droning bass sounds) for under about $1200 US? Members Bones
Alesis Fusion 6hd will do all of that reasonably well (and tons more) for $999 or less.

However, its very light and very plastic. I dont know how stageworthy it is, mine doesnt leave the house.

Members Outkaster
electro? Yes the Electro. You can ge them used off E-bay. It is the most sought out board on this forum for Electro-Mechanical sounds. The electric pianos are nice as well as the Clav sounds. The organ sounds are just ok with unrealistic controls. It is a good all in one board.

Members Bones
Thanks Bones...And how does it compare to the Alesis?Fusion is probably one the most versatile but under-rated boards available. Features & sepcs here: http://www.alesis.com/product.php?id=19 The X50 plays and sounds pretty good for what it is - an entry level board. Your best bet would be to test them side by side at GC or somewhere. Judge for yourself if the Fusion worth the extra cash to you.
