Definitely my favorite BOSS pedal. ive owned a total of 5 ps-3s, i keep selling them thinking im not going to use it, then i want it back. turned a profit in the end, so its no big deal. ill be getting one or two more, hopefully to keep. It's a really esoteric pedal, and not really one that is plug&play, so to speak; so I understand why a lot of guys give up on it. It's a tweakers' pedal, and definitely sounds best to me when used in combination with other effects. The glitchiness also forces me to adjust my playing style to meet the pedal. Members Micki001 Posted November 26, 2008 Members Share Posted November 26, 2008 I love my PS-3, the shimmer goes great with my vintage polyflange too ... but for sure it's definitely not the fast tracking harmonizer - these clips are great but I assume the balance is 100% wet effect... there's a massive delay between the attack of the pitched and unpitched sounds. I use a Roland GR-300 when I need fast-tracking polyphonic pitch shifting, but I'm always looking for a new solution... great clips and insight as always, FenderEHX4ever!
