In the grand scheme of fuzz face clones the Dunlop isn't that bad. You could get a BYOC or GGG kit for less. A monsterpiece might be less expensive too but $149 for a superb replica pedal is not bad at all.

I'm in the Uk, and unfortunately, the hendrix one is about

FZ-2 HYPER Fuzz

The FZ-2 is a distortion pedal with three modes: Fuzz 1, Fuzz 2 and Gain Boost. Fuzz 1 is used for a "booming" sound, Fuzz 2 for treble sound and Gain boost when the FZ-2 is used together with amp distortion. The FZ-2 attempts to create a fuzz sound reminiscent of the 60's and 70's but it also has the possibility to create a sound that is more in the grunge direction. The FZ-2 can also be used purely as a gain booster with no added distortion.

About 35 000 FZ-2 pedals was produced. There are no known production changes.
