Members Severed Pumpkin
Might have to turn up the volume a bit on your computer/speakers. Just recorded it with a Kodak digital camera...Love this pedal so far. Might do a lower gain demo to show some different tones. For $109, it's a steal! Members LowWoods
How you liking yours? I thought I remembered you posting something about it... I love it alot. I figured out that it has a really nice overdrive sound when you back off with the guitar's volume. The bad news is that it retains some of the high noise floor. I had to kick it off the PTmini and use an overdrive for the band I'm playing with. It might make it's way back on, who knows.
Members Severed Pumpkin
Yeah, I'd probably use a dedicated OD pedal for the overdrive side of things, but I'd be interested to know how it sits in a band mix using it for it's high gain fuzziness... Members valvestate
It sounds so deliciously heavy!!! I'm curious... is this an OD? Fuzzz? Did you record this on a 'clean' amp?
Members Severed Pumpkin
It's a high output fuzz. Definitely not an OD. It's pretty versatile for what it is though. Still have to experiment with it, as it really reacts to the guitar's volume and tone controls. It was recorded into a clean amp (Classic 30 1x12), albeit in a condo at a deceptively low volume. It was only at 1.5...Volume goes to 12 on these amps, so I can only imagine how huge it would sound at high volume with the tubes cooking.
