Members DarkHorseJ27
Have you tried using lithium 9 volts in your pedals. If you have, did that batteries last longer, long enough to be worth the extra cost?
Members Jisatsu
Technically a lithium battery should last longer than an alkaline or a ni-cad rechargable. I don't use batteries in my pedals, so I can't confirm this.

If you have, did that batteries last longer, long enough to be worth the extra cost? Using a battery is about tone not battery hours. Carbon Zinc Super heavy Duty are the best for dirt pedals. Alkaline messes up the tone of a dirt pedal. Use alklines for modulation pedals. Forget lithium for dirt pedals.

Members DarkHorseJ27
My question for those that power their pedals with 9v batteries:Why??? My setup is my Parker acoustic/electric through a Crate TX50. The Crate has a built-in battery so I can play anywhere without having to plug in. Having to have an adapter for a pedal kind of defeats the purpose.
