Sounds good w/ my OCD too. I've recently started using just the clean side but haven't had time to trial and error it (just found the right level and left it). The manual claims that the clean side is a boost only. But to me, it doesn't quite sound like " a louder version of my clean sound" (boost).I'm not hearing that. It seems like it makes the tone a little crisper with additional body and tad of honk. Does anyone have any insight? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members gambit Posted August 11, 2009 Members Share Posted August 11, 2009 i think it's some kind of JFET clean boost or something. it definitiely effects the signal and isn't just the incoming signal.. initially i quite liked that, but after the switch died within about 4 hours of use it went straight back to the shop and i got a T-Rex Moller which has a completely unaffected clean blend and i actually prefer it that way. never buying another voodoo lab pedal.
