Members Secret Seasons Posted August 19, 2009 Members Share Posted August 19, 2009 so i'm getting way ahead of myself but i'm gonna be putting together a project Strat sometime in the coming months, and took a look through ebay to see what kind of bodies were out there right now... kinda trying to keep my eyes peeled for a nice sherwood green or something similar, and found this- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120459793110&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123 ok, pretty nice color right? so i'm looking through the listing and while the way the guy has got it all written out is pretty annoying I figure thats par the course, until I notice his description of the pickups: "THE MOSTE DESIRABLE NOISLESS PICKUPS" ok, grammar aside I'm thinking... hmm, ok, I don't know why he wouldn't be specific about it if he's so confident they are "the most desirable," so I write and ask him what they are specifically. this is the response I get back, word for word: "THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTION THEY ARE TE VERY BEST PICKUPS NOISLES" :facepalm: notice he also says its a 2001 body and he has the date pictured which says 2002.
