Members Coolie No.1
Does this have both delay and reverb or just delay + the sound of a hollowbody? Is the delay on all the time? Cant make out, I know its there at the start.
Members bowlingshirt
Well, whatever you tried to post isn't showing up, but I think what you are looking for is a slap-back delay effect.

Members erksin
When I've seen him, he uses a Roland or Fulltone tape echo - no reverb. Duder has some of the best tone on the planet. Amazing to see live - easily up there with Jeff Beck in terms of impressive live playing.
Members sethlover
Live it's just Gretsch>Roland Space Echo>Vintage Blond Bassman's and cabs x 2. IMO that's his best tone. The live stuff smokes his studio recorded tone. He's on again off again with a tremolo effect in his live rig. In the studio he uses piles of amps, different echo units, and guitars. Might just be the best rock guitarist alive?

Members akapuli
Slapback echo with 2-3 repeats. Even his Roland has reverb setting, I never heard him using it. The reverb on the records comes from the recording techniques ie. room mics.
Members SirJackdeFuzz
I know that he (most of the time) uses an outboard Fender reverb unit, and a Fulltone Tube Tape Echo unit.
Members dblacker
like someone pointed out above the roland space echo with a gretsch will get you where you want to be.
Members veil
In that clip, there is some reverb aside from delay.
