Members Naterel
nothing wrong with amp dirt, or pedal dirt but sometimes there is something wrong with an amp or a pedal
Members space cred
since I'm not a 'cranked marshall' set and forget person, I MUCH prefer pedal distortion. that said... the most glorious sounds I've ever heard were my traynor ygl-3 put to ten. Loud as {censored}ing {censored}, and therefore mostly unusable. I had a BF vibrochamp for a while, and at the right spot, in sounded really REALLY good, but that spot was pretty finicky. I don't think that its that I'm 'settling' with pedal dirt either though. I get so much more as a creative musician from variety, functionality and adaptability than I do from a 'perfect' distortion sound anyway.
Members Inertiatic_SKS
I dig my Marshall cranked, but I like using my RAT so I don't have to jack with volume pedals and without dirt, my JCM900 can't get into br00tal territory.
