Members Mercenary
ok so i use pedal power to power all my pedals. the manual for the whammy says dont use anything other than the giant AC cable that comes with it. so that means i cannot just hook in one of the power cables from the pedal power to power the whammy? Members Jisatsu
You can use your Digitech RP355 power adaptor for your Digitech Whammy. You don't have to specifically use the one that comes with the pedal in the box. Just saying.
Members TomCTC
As long as it's around 9-10VAC power and over 800ma, you're fine. I use a 9.6VAC 1000ma adapter I bought for $2 at a thrift store for my Whammy. Works fine.

Members Mind_Riot89
The Modtone Power Plant will power it but, aside from that and the Burkley Flatliner it's gonna need a wall wart.
Members TomCTC
Wait wait wait...I thought it was 1.3A It's advised to use that, but anything over 800ma will still power it up.

Members andreas
Just confirming what others have said... The Whammy uses about 800mA of 9 volts AC - the OE Digitech adapter is 1300mA because it is also used for other units (which use more current). The PP2+ can not power the Whammy. You can of course run the Whammy adapter from the accessory outlet on the back of the PP2+, but you might as well use a regular mains power strip - the PP2+ doesn't do anything with the power going to that jack. If you want a power unit that can do both your 9vDC pedals and the Whammy, you need to look at the ModTone Power Plant, JuiceBox 3 or Burkey Flatliner Pro. /Andreas
