ok so i use pedal power to power all my pedals. the manual for the whammy says dont use anything other than the giant AC cable that comes with it. so that means i cannot just hook in one of the power cables from the pedal power to power the whammy?

Just confirming what others have said...

The Whammy uses about 800mA of 9 volts AC - the OE Digitech adapter is 1300mA because it is also used for other units (which use more current).

The PP2+ can not power the Whammy. You can of course run the Whammy adapter from the accessory outlet on the back of the PP2+, but you might as well use a regular mains power strip - the PP2+ doesn't do anything with the power going to that jack.

If you want a power unit that can do both your 9vDC pedals and the Whammy, you need to look at the ModTone Power Plant, JuiceBox 3 or Burkey Flatliner Pro.
