Members jhamnett
I have a Vintage Bass in there now and, after getting my Jag upgraded with 57 Classics, I feel that there's a lot left to be desired on the neck position of my PRS. I want something clear and articulate, vintage sounding but with a little more output to match the HFS in the bridge (awesome hard rock pickup, btw). Here's what I was thinking: SD: Jazz, 59, Alnico II Pro, Seth Lover (maybe not Seth Lover...)Dimarzio: Humbucker from Hell, PAF 36th Anniversary, Air ClassicBG: Any of these, damn... maybe one of the A4 varieties for a something different Yes, I did post a similar thread on HCEG, but with a TLDR OP, so I'm hoping to get some more responses here. So, what say you HCFX?
Members RJpilot
I have been curious about that humbucker from hell for a while. You might try that for my benefit. Cuz honestly its all about me.
Members jhamnett
I think the name throws a lot of people off. Kinda strange that the Dimarzio pickup suggester came up with that first, but it might be a good fit for what I want.

Members jhamnett
I would except I need uncovered (to match bridge) and 4 conductor (for the 5 way rotary). Plus, it might be too close to the 57 Classic I have in my other guitar...
Members jhamnett
OK, ordered a BG Smoke Stack for my neck. Nice that the maker has the same guitar, same year!
