Sit or Stand

Definitely easier to switch back and forth between keyboard and guitar or bass guitar while standing.

 

If I had to do more footwork though (damper pedals, bass pedals, etc.), I'd pretty much have to sit to be more comfortable.

I sit, mainly because I use lots of pedals, several expression, two damper, and Leslie speed control.

Seeing as how I play both bass and keys live, I NEED to stand... sometimes I'll even play both at the same time and doing that while sitting just doesn't work for me.

I do both. Standing it is harder to play more expressive parts where there is a lot of arpeggiated things happening. A lot of it has to do with the style of music you play.

Used to sit, but have been standing recently, since it helps the movement of shows when I switch from guitar to keyboards and back again. Having to take off the guitar, sit behind the keys, get back up, put back on the guitar, etc. sucks when you are trying to keep the live energy up. It's easier to just leave the guitar on and switch back and forth standing.
