Members theAntihero
So i finally got my Black Russian Muff and Swollen Pickle today. I like the SP for leads but im having a hard time with getting a good rhythm sound. The muff sounds great with both but i noticed that the case is microphonic, is this normal? Or should i be worried? Members b_nehpets
if you plug it up backwards does the case become a speaker?
Members claytonjohn18
The case is always a speaker, as the speaker is usually a case. See Hu Flung Pu.

Members theAntihero
The case is microphonic? Yes, when you tap it with your foot or whatever you get a sound from the amp. It happens whether its on or off.

Check the jacks and also EHX is notorious for random loose wires.
Members Mr. Sarum
Yeah open the box and see if anything looks a little loose. Pay special attention to the jacks and the footswitch. Then find the faulty connection, and solder it back in.
Members theAntihero
So i took a look inside and what is apparently the ground, a wire with a round connector was off. I know jack about pedal wiring but this cut the noise instantly by 90% when i screwed it in between the upper and lower metal cases. Its still there but almost not noticable.
