I lived in Noyant-la-Gravoyere about half a mile from Black Box Studio in the nineties, where Iain was a great source of advice and friendship to me as a struggling working guitar player.He wasn't only held in very high esteem professionally, but also as a member of the local community by the villagers, who loved his mixture of three different accents and his non-rockstar attitude.
