No, it's a powerup that makes you bounce around like a damn slinky. Impossible to control, and you have to time your bounce to get SUPERHIGH on a platform the size of Gary Coleman's nose. Members blueballoon Posted June 28, 2010 Author Members Share Posted June 28, 2010 most annoying part of the entire game is hopping over chompas as spring mario. yeah dude, that's where i was. died like 5 times in a row. then i went downtown, had a beer, came back and tried it without the spring pu. back flip & spin combo ftw. had to employ the spring mario at the very end, but the platform jumping didn't bother me as much because unlike the chomp segment, i didn't bounce into lava everytime i made a timing error. i really hope i dont have to use it again.
