Members baranger1
StaccoThe MicroSynth after the HOG did two things to alter the sound. The first was it added a small bit of square wave or distortion to the sound. The envelope filter would allow the buzz to be heard just for a short time after the note was played.Kind of like the way a stand up bass string buzzes against its fretless finger board when plucked hard and then mellows out as the string dies down.I think that is what really made it sound real.It took some fooling with levels to get it right.BillWhoah, I tried the double bass sound with the HOG and got close-ish. I don't have a Microsynth, but I do have a meatball clone, so what you're saying is I should set I really fast attack just at the beggining of the note and with the filter effect AFTER the Hog??
