Members jhamnett
Found this demo on Sweetwater and thought the drive channel is much much much improved. Definitely has a bit of a Marshally drive, definitely like the changes they made there.
Members Tron Murphy
Anyone that buys a Fender amp and is worried about the drive channel is doing it wrong, IMO.

Members Fender&EHX4ever
This must be the reason why I'm seeing so many Hot Rod Deluxe's for sale on Craigslist now. I see them posted for as little as $300. It almost tempts me to get one... almost.
Members easyliver
easily one of the better back-up amps on the market for the money...I paid $400 for mine, fiesta red tolex covered vrs with a Vintage 30 in it. honestly, if my main amp farted out for some reason I'd rather have a HRD or a peavey classic 50 as back-up, they take pedals soooooo well
Members jhamnett
^ Did the same with my Deville, stuck a couple V30 clones in it. Great sounding amp for cleans for breakup on the normal channel. Never use the drive on it, though... but now I'm wondering if the new model would give me both the great clean I'm used to and good drive too. Hmmm... Members Fender&EHX4ever
Yea they're all over my CL too.. If I didn't already have too many amps, and amp GAS for some other 60s amps, I would probably jump on this opportunity to get one for cheap. My friend has one, and it is a good gigging amp. People that hate on the clean channel really don't know what they're talking about. But dear god was the drive awful.
