Members warioblast Posted January 3, 2011 Members Share Posted January 3, 2011 I got a Voodoo Blues last week but I really got a chance to try it yesterday. IT IS GOOD. On a clean channel, you have to have roll back the volume of the guitar to make it useable. But with an already overdriven sound it sounds pretty good. Though it has very low gain on its own, it's an amazing fat boost. The balance of the pedal is neutral, you don't have the mid hump of a tube screamer. It is also way more quiet than a TS. The fatness knob does exactly what it says, you can go from a thin, somewhat honky tone to a mean fat tone. The notes stay clear & articulate, you don't have that smoothy, creamy sound out of a neck single pickup & a TS. It also looks like a solid stacker, I had very good results boosting a big muff & a mkII tonebender. I'm pretty psyched. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
