Members loosegroove
So I'm looking for a phaser to complete my compact board. After looking through a bunch of videos and clips, I really dig the Guyatone PS3. It has a slightly uneven sweep that I dig. Unfortunately its discontinued. Any good, compact, cheap alternatives? Or does anyone know where I can score one? Here is a clip of what it sounds like: [video=youtube;wYHWXoLlpbA]

Members conky
Just listened to the video. It sounds sort of like my GGG Phase 45 kit. I adjusted the trimpot to where it was kinda uneven in the sweep to make it a little more Univibe sounding.
Members loosegroove
Thanks, just checked ebay and it's not there anymore unfortunately. Yeah, I've always liked the DOD201 and Phase 45 sounds as well. My only beef with them is they don't have an intensity knob and they can't get as deep or warbly. Members conky
Yeah it's a subtle phase shift but I imagine the GGG Phase 90 kit might get deeper and I'm not sure about it but you might be able to adjust the internal trimpot for an uneven sweep on it like the Phase 45 does. Members loosegroove
Actually I think the Maxon PT999 has an internal trim pot for that. I have heard that those are quite subtle too though. I've also considered picking up a Dano Cool Cat Vibe. It might fit the bill....
Members conky
I've heard the Cool Cat Vibe takes a second for the effect to kick in once you engage it. Something due to the lamp warming up. There is an easy mod for it though. The Chicken Salad sounds pretty good on the cheap.
