Members stratrulz
I was looking at getting a small practice effects unit, for quiet night playing and considered the Korg Pandora PX4D. I think I had one long ago? But it may have been an older model? I've also tried an older Zoom effects and the Tonelab but I haven't tried the newer Ampkit or Vox plug ins. I remember wanting my amp instead, which is understandable, but I think I need to bite the bullet and get something, just curious if anyone tried any of these things and had good experiences? The ampkit looks pretty cool at $40, plus I have an Ipod already.
Members SwingingAx
I have a Zoom PFX9003 Headphone Amp I've been happy with. It's not made anymore, unfortunately, but there are others. The latest Korg is the PX5D, which does a lot but you WILLpay for it. Line 6 has a Mini-POD Headphone Amp (not sure of it's model name)that some like, and is about half the price of the Korg. You really need to decide what you want to spend, and what youwant the unit to do, to determine exactly what you're looking for.(And maybe, which one will give you the tone you're looking for) P.S. Most ANY Multi-FX should do, even if they lack an Aux-Infor running backing tracks through it. You can buy a 1-into-21/8 stereo plug from Radio Shack and use it for that. Also, software solutions are another option. (like Ampkit?)Especially if you own a Laptop.
Members SwingingAx
This isn't the best forum for Multi-FX questions, kind of hit and miss. You may want to try another forum, one more accepting of Multi-FX.

Members fly135
The PX4D is good because it has drums and bass (w/programmable key), plus it clips on your strap. I love mine. ^I wakeboard too. At least once a week^
