He was playing various Gretschs and Les Pauls through a Zvex Super Hard-on and SIB Mr Echo delay pedal into (as far as I could tell) a Fender Champ and Fender Blues Jr., one stood on top of the other. His guitar growled like a lion, I've never heard anything like it. I saw four different people congratulate the sound guy when the gig was over on how great it sounded but he said 'I didn't do anything tonight.' I've seen Low or RGC probably about 10 times since 1999. It seems like every time he's switched pedals, amps, or guitars, and every time it's just flabbergastingly awesome tone.
